Customer Access Levels

Customer accounts belong to motor carrier companies using the platform to manage their FMCSA compliance files. Every customer login sits in the Customer account group, with an access level from 1 to 10 that controls application authority inside that company. Level 1 is the highest-authority customer level and Level 10 is the lowest.

What "Level" Means

A Level 10 customer login is still a customer — it never gains employee or consultant permissions. The level only controls depth of access within the customer's own company. Level 1 is reserved for the single Primary Account Owner; Level 2 is generally appropriate for partners/executives, and progressively lower-authority levels can be assigned according to the user's job responsibilities and permissions.

A company can have more than one login (for example, an owner and an office manager), each set to the access level appropriate for that person's role.

Pricing Is Separate From Access Level

Customer access levels are authority settings, not pricing tiers. Company signup, one-time account/inventory charges, campaign savings, and any promotional or grandfathered benefits are handled separately from the user's Level 1-10 permissions.

New carriers can begin from the public company-registration path, while existing customers use Login or Forgot Password to regain account access.
